A question I get asked a lot as a Devon newborn photographer is when to book in your newborn photoshoot. The truth is, there isn’t one right answer. Every family, every birth, and every baby is different.

When you think of a newborn photoshoot, most people tend to imagine a white studio, babies posed on a nest of blankets and tired but glowing parents cradling their newest addition. Beautiful, serene, but also not the only way to do a newborn photoshoot, especially when older siblings are involved.
