A few months ago the most incredible and moving thing happened to me, and it’s taken me until now to want to share it because it means so much to me that I felt like I needed to let it settle, and sit with me for a bit before I was ready to share it with the rest of the world.
A hugely talented client and friend, Victoria Punch, wrote a poem inspired by the motherhood mini session that we did together back in March. It was like she saw into my soul and captured in words the essence of what motivates me to do what I do. To document the small moments that make up our motherhood journeys. To make you feel seen and beautiful and worthy not just of being in the photo, but of being the focus of the photo.
I think that as mothers many of us have days when we feel invisible, losing our identity, unseen, just a pair of hands to prepare meals, do laundry, tidy tidy tidy. Sleep deprived and mentally overloaded. I want to help you to see yourself as the incredible woman that you are, the heart of your family, the person your child calls ‘home’. Tired, yes. Overloaded, yes. And oh so beautiful.
